CANbassador Volunteer
Description
Serve as a champion of CAN Council’s mission by representing our organization at outreach events, hosting facility tours, and being a CAN contact in your personal and professional network. CANbassadors are Friend-Raisers that will help grow awareness and attract new involvement in our organization.
Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer
Description
Highly trained volunteers serving as the voice for children who are in the system due to abuse or neglect. In-house training and courtroom observations are required. Once sworn in by court, volunteers average 20 hours a month advocating for a single child or sibling group.
General Volunteer
Description
May assist with special projects and clerical duties related to CAN Council programs and services, building maintenance tasks, special events/fundraisers, & more for any one of our offices in Bay City, Bad Axe, or Saginaw.
Locker Associate
Description
Assists in the organizing and sorting of donations for The Locker. Will serve as an associate of The Locker, greeting families as they enter the store and assisting them in finding the items they need. One hour of onsite training is required. Volunteers must be able to commit to 4 hours/per month.
